BLYTHE is bent over MAX. SPIDER stands behind him.

SPIDER: Did you kill him?

BLYTHE: I don’t think you should see this.

SPIDER: You saw what he tried to do to me.

BLYTHE: There are things I need to know, and ways I can make him talk.

SPIDER: I should hear it instead?

BLYTHE: Go down the street.

SPIDER: Alone? I’m not going anywhere alone. I want to see what happens to this man. I want to know he gets what he deserves.

Light flickers.

SPIDER: What was that?

BLYTHE: Trees in the wind.

Light is blocked.

SPIDER: Something is at the window.

BLYTHE: (whispers) He brought more.

TIP (OS): Hey, yo! Stan, you in here?

BLYTHE: (whispers) I know him.
