Indy-Anna Bones was seeking intel on a mystery in her own back yard.
The "Toynbee Idea" tiles had been appearing along the Eastern Seaboard of the US and as far south as Chile.
At the beginning of summer, tiles covered by tarpaper are dropped on hot asphalt to be slowly pressed in and revealed as cars drive across them.
The majority of tiles have appeared in Philadelphia and Manhattan.
That is where Indy-Anna Bones discovered a fresh tile in front of Macy's Department Store.
She was finding new tiles everywhere she looked.
That's when she noticed some of these tiles bore a different signature.
Indy-Anna Bones sought out the world's foremost expert on the Toynbee tiles to see what he knew about House of Hades.
The original Toynbee tiler had been in operation since the 1980's, and is possibly based in Philadelphia, driving a car with the floorboards removed, so he can drop tiles in the pavement at red lights.
The House of Hades tiles mimicked the Toynbee Idea tiles they lay beside at nearly every intersection south of Central Park.
Originally thought to be a copy-cat, a man claiming to be House of Hades approached a filmmaker behind, "Resurrect Dead," a Toynbee documentary.
He claims to have spoken with Hades for several hours, where the artist detailed his agenda.
The Manhattan tiles acknowledged their artistic lineage, but did not fail to assert their own unique voice.
Indy-Anna Bones would continue this investigation of an exciting new artist.
