Set: The Office of Dr. Dendobates.
BEATRICE enters, angry.
LIGHTS UP
BEATRICE looks around the lab.
BEATRICE
Dr. Dendrobates! Dr. Dendrobates, where are you?
Dr. Dendrobates! Dr. Dendrobates, where are you?
DR. DENDROBATES enters, cloaked and hooded.
BEATRICE
What did you do to Janessa? What did you give her?
DR. DENDROBATES
A mix of chemicals that will never be noticed in your pill-gobbling little friend. There are only two of us left standing. No one left to know what happened here. No one but me, and you.
BEATRICE
I'm going to tell everyone I can.
DR. DENDROBATES
Which won't be many when I burn this place to ash.
BEATRICE
Why would you do such a thing?
DR. DENDROBATES
I don’t want a nation of children to look like this.
What did you do to Janessa? What did you give her?
DR. DENDROBATES

DR. DENDRBATES takes off his hood, revealing his bulbous, green head.
BEATRICE

DR. DENDROBATES lunges at Beatrice.
