Ole Nuger has been quiet for a while, folks, got to apologize for that. The main reason is that I've become so sick to death with this election that I just can't wait for it to be over. John McCain and Sarah Palin, in their elementary school temper tantrums have made such a mockery of our system of government that I'd like to see the world "Maverick" removed from the language. Through the entire campaign, I've tried to make clear that I don't like Barack Obama, not one bit. He's a liar and a cheat that just wants to see his ugly mug on TV for the next 8 years. I don't like Obama, but I desperately want him to win the Presidency. I can't stand the thought of a McCain/Palin rulership.
I am not Ted Nugent. I've never been Ted Nugent. Most likely, I will never be Ted Nugent. I listen to Ted Nugent's music when it's on the radio. I don't agree with many things that come out of Ted Nugent's mouth, and most of what I do agree with, I still don't agree with Ted Nugent's reasoning. I respect Ted Nugent. I think Ted Nugent is a great American, because he expresses his opinion at all times. I don't agree with much of what Ted Nugent says, but Ted Nugent and I both believe that the United States of America is the greatest country in the world, where a person has more opportunities to better themselves. If no one is around when Ted Nugent is on the radio, I always sing along.
From the get-go, the McCain/Palin ticket has been a mean-spirited bid to tow the line. McCain was once seen as a nice guy, but he sold his soul early on, and the addition of this cretin as his vice president was the last nail in the coffin. I was a little worried early on when the campaign rallied under her, but you know that old cliche about giving enough rope? Thank God the SNL cameras caught the moment Palin realized she was the butt of a joke, and not the subject of praise. Even McCain himself was able to pick up on that one when he visited the SNL set for his concession speech. Sarah Palin may still have the curves for a g-string, but that's not a qualification to be next in line for "Most Powerful Man in the Entire World" award.
The last 7 years have been tough following that little thing we call 9/11. All of us were hurt, all of us were angry, and to be honest, I wasn't overly upset with how Bush handled the problem. Some innocent people were locked up for extended periods of time, but if the Terrorists were so compassionate, maybe they should have thought about what they would do to their own people. Bush did a damn good job of running the bastards down like dogs. Later on, when he used 9/11 to invade an unrelated nation, allowed the pigs around him to bleed our wallets to the point of major economic collapse, and made us all look like fools in the Global Community, then I started to take issue.
It's time to step back and catch our breath, let the nation heal. McCain/Palin will not let this happen. The Enrons and WorldComs and the Bear & Sterns will draw their first resuscitated breath and reach for our money once more. If we're lucky, McCain survives until re-election time. Sarah Palin is every tired joke against a female president come true. In 2012, after she's spent all the national budget on clothing, and started nuclear war while riding Aunt Flow, the pigs will look us in the eye and say, "See, we told you not to elect a woman." This election has shown that we as Americans are so muddled and confused that we can't even decide on something to be angry about long enough for Fox News to make fun of it. With bin Laden eluding public justice this long, our righteous indignation has turned sour. America is tired and pissed off and cranky. America is John McCain.
Every time I see that guy up on stage, ranting and pacing, and waving his arms like a chicken, I change the video. If I ever have to hear Sarah Palin's snotty told-you-so voice misquoting another intellectual, I'll probably go crazy. McCain/Palin is the way our country has been headed, and we are in need of a change. We need a Democrat to sit back with their feet up getting fat, so we can get a handle on our emotions. On September 11th, the terrorists hoped to collapse our economy. They failed in the face of American determination, but 7 years later, we've allowed Bush and his greedy friends to succeed where bin Laden failed. Notice how fast gas prices are dropping with grim looks in McCain futures?
I feel it coming like a collective weight off our shoulders. Everywhere I go, grocery stores, restaurants, movie theaters, Bill O'Reilley once held rapt attention on a public television sets. Now I'm the only person without their back turned, and no one complains when I call him a pigfucker. I have to work to find Bush's goofy smirk in print or video. Is Cheney still alive? I don't believe a word Obama says about change and love and prosperity. He's a politician. They lie. If we are to better ourselves, we have to do it ourselves. There will always be people to naysay and smash the will of others. We need to accept these as our countrymen, because we all behave the same at one point or another. We need to respect each other and recognize the value in each American. We may see differently, but we all came from the same monkey. An Obama presidency will give us time to do this, but Barack Obama will not do this for us. Tuesday, I won't be voting for Barack Obama. I will be voting for prosperity, for dignity, and most importantly, for recovery. I will be voting against McCain, and everything he stands for. I don't like Barack Obama, but I believe our lives will be better if we make him our leader. I look forward to 4 years of his presidency. If you don't agree with me, I'm comfortable in knowing your life will also be improved by an Obama presidency. This is America, baby, it's time to remind them why we're the best.
