Episode 4
The Piscean order had started as a group of high level PC’s hunting down pirates and MERC’sbefore TAO Sci Fi was released. They claimed loyalty to the Emperor, but their true purpose and affiliation was never clear. Will had several run-ins as Sita Moon and had barely made it out alive. Will couldn’t see the problem. He could understand a need to protect the Noobs, but back then he’d been an honest guy earning an honest living selling high-level items for real-world money. Why would any other player care about that?
Will scanned the planet’s surface for a secure place to set down. Radar showed that the Grimlox was still following, but had stopped descending, and was lurking in the upper reaches of the atmosphere. Galvatron turned off his thrusters and dropped. The Orc Mountains were nearby.
The “Orc Mountains!” Expansion Pack was created to answer the problem of a valley full of Orc and Goblin spawning points that was difficult to reach by most players, so a vast army had built up. Stealing from Andy McCarthy’s King Dagon story, one of the new designers had created an Orc general named Morgoth the Mighty.
There was only one Morgoth, and he only respawned once a game year, so if a PC managed to kill it and turn back the tide of orcs, Morgoth didn’t stay gone long, and he had another army waiting by the time he arrived. Any orc or goblin within one block of Morgoth would also follow his command. Further, any orc or goblin within one block of an orc or goblin under Morgoth’s command would also follow Morgoth. Ten orcs or twenty goblins could fit in one block. Morgoth was programmed to do one thing: take those orcs out in the world and smash as much as they could before they were killed.
Galvatron: We’ll be safer in those mountains.
StarScream: What’s down there?
Galvatron: No players.
StarScream: How far is Sita Moon?
Galvatron: Don’t remember.
Galvatron: Have to bring her to you.
