StarScream lunged at the orcs on the rim, absorbing two waves of arrow fire as she scrambled up the bank. She roasted the firing line with her breath and knocked back the rest when they came finally in reach of her claws. Morgoth smashed Duke with his great stone axe, knocking the White Knight on his back, but doing little damage. The Cthulhu Dagger could kill the greatest victim with the smallest wound, but Sita Moon could not lay a hand on the weapon. It swung through the air, parrying and deflecting attacks of its own accord, but Sita Moon had no weapon to pierce the orc's thick flesh or the strength of her fists to pummel him.
Morgoth spun, crushing with a fist the size of Sita Moon’s torso. The Cthulhu Dagger blocked, but was not enough to stop the attack. Sita Moon slammed against the embankment and slid into the water. Sita Moon was once a great warrior, but the loss of her equipment left her helpless as an infant.
StarScream freed herself from combat and rolled down the bank, lifting her body off the ground without wings and rocketed along the river out of sight. Morgoth intercepted Duke’s charge on Sita Moon and clubbed the knight with his axe. Duke was thrown on the bank on his back.
Through a break in the trees, Sita Moon spied a ruined fort perched on the hill, abandoned and broken for centuries. Morgoth and Duke would resolve their situation one way or another, but Sita Moon was not likely to survive if forced to fight the victor.
