Two Winters Past

EXT. HIGHWAY. EVENING.

Daylight has almost gone. CHLOE ISIS is hugging MOLAY while VALENTINE stands back.

CHLOE ISIS takes a step back.

CHLOE ISIS: How did you do it? How did you survive?

MOLAY: I trapped the monster in the basement and set the house on fire.

VALENTINE: We didn’t see any fire.

MOLAY: Were you looking?

CHLOE ISIS: I’m so glad you’re alive!

MOLAY: That Chango got away too.

VALENTINE: We’ll be far from him by the end of today. That hillbilly won’t come after us any more.

MOLAY: We’re on our way to Parlor City?

VALENTINE: We’re going to find some food.

MOLAY: There’s no food in Whitney Point.

VALENTINE: There must be something we can eat.

CHLOE ISIS: Whatever the case, we need to start walking. What time is it? 6:30? 7?

MOLAY: We don’t have a lot of daylight to find anything.

VALENTINE: I think I forgot how to read a clock face before the world even ended.
