Ted Nugent for President

Bored on the Fourth of July

I watched the fireworks tonight. Happy Fourth of July. This year was no big fanfare, more of a 'do-this-because-we-have-to' sort of a gig. Get in, get a few 'ohhhs' and 'ahhs,' and be done with it. I suppose after the last eight years of Bush Regime, no one is really proud to be an American. We already know we still haven't heard from JEB, 'the smart one,' and I certainly hope I don't live long enough for either of the twins to get in office. Still, we will have a new President soon, I was hoping we could take this year out with a bang.

No matter how you slice it, I don't like Obama. Don't get me wrong, I like that he's not John McCain, and I certainly love that he's not as loathsome and repugnant a creature as Hillary Clinton, but I don't like Obama. He's too perfect: young, intelligent, well-spoken, and krasimatic to boot! After throwing the last two elections, it kind of makes you wonder how the Democrats came up with him so quickly, and why they couldn't find him before. Al Gore? A block of wood had more personality, and rocks look down on John Kerry. Where was Senator Obama lurking back then? Are these things rigged? No, certainly not.

And that's what has me worried most of all. After eight years of Bush negativity, the American people are positively sick to death and have demanded a change. Granted, there are a few moonbats out there blind enough to sign on for McCain's "Four More of the Same!" policy, but the rest of us decent folk have a nasty film in our mouth after our righteous indignation from 9/11 lined the pockets of sick, immoral scum. I'm glad only two or three people across the nation were tricked into believing that Mrs. Clinton could have provided that change. Hillary represents every twisted, lying, greed-monger that has ever churned my stomach, while the names would certainly change, we might as well have elected George Walker, Texas Ranger to a third term than let that nasty bitch back in the White House.

Which brings me back to Barak Obama. Hillary Clinton is slick. Mrs. Slick, to be exact. She's been through this game once already, and shamelessly and unabashedly used every dirty trick at her disposal during the campaign to smear the Senator's good name. She put his religion in question. When that failed, she put his religion in question. Then she put his patriotism in question. She put his family in question. She put his support of the Second Amendment in question. Once, she even suggested Obama may have given oral sex to her husband, but Senator Obama weathered it all and came out on top.

You don't trump someone like Hillary Clinton by just being a nice guy. Hunter S. Thompson called the Presidency of the United States as the greatest prize in the history of the world, and only the sickest, most depraved, and soulless monsters come out of the woodwork to claim it. During the Bush Reign of Terror, around the middle, when there was a chance we could have gotten rid of him, people frequently made moronic statements like, "It can't get worse than Bush." Now, we all know I'm no fan of that panda-mulching dirt weasel, but to say he is the paramount of evil is inviting trouble. If you go around thinking it can't get worse, it perks up the ears of the people who realize they are far too evil to be put in charge. It reinvigorates them, gives them will, gives them hope, makes them think about giving it another try.

Barak Obama will be the next President of the United States. Only the most catastrophic event could prevent it from happening. When I see him up on the platform, smiling that great big smile, mugging and posing for the camera flash, always shot at an up angle, it makes me wonder what he wondered back in 2004. There is still more than six months before he gets to sit behind that big mahogany desk and start making up our minds for us, but he is already being heralded as the Greatest President in US History. Where was he back in 2004. Why didn't he think he couldn't get enough votes back then?
