AIN SOPH, Part 6

Will would have to aim for the Spidron's mouth. It was the only spot weak enough for Galvatron to damage, but being able to target this area meant he was lined up to be hit by this fast moving creature. If Galvatron didn't dispatch them quickly, the transports could start birthing Spidrons. Galvatron could avoid the attacks of the giant transports, but he wouldn't be able to shake off the smaller creatures. They would cling and reposition, and could often only be removed with fire. Not many small suns on the charts.

Galvatron spun and charged his laser by holding down the 'F' key. If he didn't move, he could up the punch of the laser by 1/3rd, and repositioning didn't affect that. Waiting until one transport was further out, Will tracked the other, using his jump jets to spin in the air, lining up his cannon with the opening mouth. Will released the 'F' and blasted the Spidron down its throat. The animation of the blast flashed through the creature's stomach, though no permanent damage remained. Galvatron changed form and rocketed out of the creature's path, just in time to shoot around the second Spidron. He released a decoy fog and a few more zaps of the cannon at normal strength. No hope StarScream would pop in and make this fight easy, Lilly had only been gone about an hour. She'd probably only finished checking her e-mail or updating her site for tomorrow.

Jetting momentarily out of range, Galvatron targeted a salvo of missiles on the two targets and let fire. The tiny bombs exploded a around the heads of the monsters, and a few even landed damage. The bombs were a rouse to knock the Spidrons off course long enough for Galvatron to change mode and target. Will held down the 'F' key a moment before letting loose on the Spidron further away. He then changed to robot form and jetted out of the path of the other's jaws. The second Spidron was heavily damaged, but would be just as dangerous until it was dead. The momentum of the first had sent it hurtling out of sight, giving Galvatron a spare moment for Will to quickly target and hit the 'F' key until Galvatron's laser cannon was empty, and then equipped a LaSword and swooped in for the kill.
