Episode 4
The
Spidron snapped it's jaws, but Galvatron was too fast. Will attacked
with the sword, slicing the giant monster down the belly. It flew a
short way past, flashed three times and disappeared. '4200' appeared
over Galvatron's head, but Will did not have time to rejoice long. The
second Spidron was coming back, and it's sides were starting to heave.
The Spidron larvae were about to hatch. Larvae had wings and teeth, and
were very fast. Galvatron lingered a moment, LaSword extended before
him, slicing at the Spidron head as it passed. The monster nearly
chomped off Galvatron's sword arm. If that were the case, Will would be
better off restarting his game and meeting Starscream at the Hub.
Spinning
and arching around Galvatron's laser blasts, the Spidron buffeted with
its great wings and swooped in, clamping its jaws around Galvatron's
waist and connecting with a 'HOLD' attack. Will attacked with the
LaSword and jerked the joystick back and forth, but could not break free
of the monster. '553,' '624,' and '345' appeared consecutively in red
above Galvatron as the Spidron shook the robot back and forth before
tossing him away like a scrap.
Galvatron recovered
quickly and jetted himself in position to fire on the head. Two shots
connected, but didn't do enough damage to matter. Galvatron rocketed in
the opposite direction, changed to ship form and spun to target. The
Spidron had flown out of sight, and Galvatron was unable to target
organic material.
Only a moment passed before the
Spidron rushed in for the attack. Galvatron's afterburners carried him
out of danger, and he spun the ship to target where the Spidron
disappeared. When it shot back onto the screen, Galvatron fired once,
but missed the target. Not much adjustment was required to move him
clear, but Will misjudged where the Spidron would return, and did not
see the next attack until the Spidron crashed into him, knocking
Galvatron into robot mode. Will fired blindly, but was still unable to
pierce the Spidron's chitin armor.
