Sita Moon: Get into cover!
Morgoth was returning, bellowing for his army to join him. Sita Moon charged and Morgoth was driven back by a discharge of StarScream’s mouth cannon.
Sita Moon: I can handle him, get into cover!
When StarScream flew over their heads, the orcs didn’t notice this time. Morgoth’s fury had drawn them. Orc rules of war stated that the littlest guys fought first to give the biggest guys a chance to prepare. Morgoth was the biggest guy of the lot.
Sita drank a ‘Fire Breath,’ and followed into the charred orcs that remained, chopping them down with the Medusa Scimitars until a solid wall of dead orcs stood tall enough to hold the army back. Most ran around it, this level of thought took several seconds, and not until after those directly behind attempted to beat down the wall with their fists and weapons. The distraction gave Sita Moon the chance to press in on her chosen enemy, pinning Morgoth against the rock wall. There was a pattern to every monster's behavior, and once a player knew a trigger, they could force a monster to behave in a specific way to quicken its death.
She hit him again and again with the Medusa Scimitars, but Morgoth was strong against magick, and any parts that turned to stone quickly regenerated. Will needed Morgoth to pick up his head so he could go for the neck. Concentrated attacks to the belly usually made a monster throw its head back in pain, but Morgoth was so tough it was difficult to land a blow.
Finally, Sita Moon connected, and Morgoth arched his back, crying out in a mix of rage and pain. Her subsequent attack to his neck scored almost double the damage, Morgoth didn’t slow in his recovery. He retaliated immediately with his axe, hitting Sita Moon twice and holding her down with his foot. Safely perched on a rock above them, StarScream fired down with the mouth cannon, knocking Morgoth clear.
Sita Moon: about time
StarScream: I thought you could handle him.
