AIN SOPH, Part 8

Episode 7

Morgoth was so big and lumbering that every move he made took a few seconds. Even chopping through a sea of orcs, Sita Moon had no trouble overtaking him. As soon as she connected the first time, the soldiers backed away to watch like the crowded halls of a high school. Morgoth arched his back in pain, but Will misjudged the speed of his recovery, as well as Sita Moon's slow sword, and was unable to hit him under the jaw. One more good hit should finish the fight.

Then Duke arrived to complicate the whole arrangement. Will recognized the White Knight from Sita's fight with King Dagon. The guy at the controls claimed to have created the whole mess and let Will keep the illegal CTHULHU DAGGER that Will had bootlegged from an earlier game. According to this White Knight, Will had saved the world.

Duke: I told you I would find you.

Morgoth wasn't done. He once again called for his soldiers to attack, which made both Sita Moon and Duke open targets. They needed to concentrate on the orcs before they could concentrate on killing each other. They quickly found the fight was much easier if they guarded each other's backs.

Duke: You're not getting away this time.

Sita Moon: A little early for promises

Duke: I only stepped in when I saw you start winning.

Orcs are cowardly creatures, and if you hack up enough of them, they are going to back off. High level characters like Duke and Sita Moon were able to put the fear of the Emperor back in the hearts of Morgoth's troops in a few rounds. This left Morgoth in the open. Sita Moon charged, hopped, and rolled through the air to avoid an opportunistic attack on her legs from Duke, and chopped down on Morgoth as she landed. Timing perfectly this time, she did an upward attack as Morgoth arched his back and exposed his chin. She slammed her sword through the roof of Morgoth's mouth. Morgoth stumbled back a few feet and recovered. He must have single digit hit points left, but that was more than enough to keep fighting. Morgoth the Mighty battled to the end.
