Two Winters Past

INT. REC ROOM. EVENING.

BLYTHE goes to the door, axe ready. TIP, RANGO, and SMITTY shove their way in.

SMITTY: There she is! And you found Max too! He don’t look so good.

SPIDER lurches onto SMITTY, wrapping her arms around him and biting his face.

RANGO: She’s a zombie! Fucking shoot her!

TIP draws his gun, but BLYTHE swings his axe. RANGO tackles BLYTHE and they tumble.

SPIDER pushes SMITTY aside and charges TIP.

TIP runs. SPIDER chases him out.

RANGO punches BLYTHE, but BLYTHES draws a knife and stabs RANGO in the hip.

The wound is minor, but enough to drive RANGO back.

RANGO looks around, realizes TIP and SPIDER are gone.

RANGO: You been keeping one of those? Turner knows?

BLYTHE: I didn’t know she was infected.

RANGO: (draws knife) You probably infected me too. I aught to cut your head off!

BLYTHE: You try.

RANGO lingers a moment and runs after TIP. BLYTHE retrieves his axe and follows.
