Two Winters Past

Scene 15

EXT. HIGHWAY

All walk as they talk.

LOGAN: Ain't you said you came out of the City?

TIFF gestures to AIDEN.

TIFF: We were. And Hook.

MARY JANE: Holt and I lived in Cairo. Near Bear Mountain, on the Hudson.

TIFF: I knew some people in Goshen. We met Holt and Mary Jane looking for someone else.

LOGAN: What about your friends?

TIFF shrugs, looks down.

HOOK: That area is still thick.

HOLT has been watching the river. He stops and points.

HOLT: Those are nets!

Two nets are strung across the stream between two trees.

LOGAN: Fish swim right into them.

HOOK: People in Hancock use them?

HOLT: Why haven’t we seen anyone?

LOGAN: Probably busy eating fish. River’s full of them.
