Cut Scene 3
The Spidron hurled Caloin into a copse of trees, smashing the little wizard for 900 damage. Caloin dropped a Heal spell on himself as the Spidron charged, spearing with it's long, serrated ripper claw for another 600 points.
Sita Moon jumped on the opportunity, running under the monster, beneath the reach of the Spidron's crusher claw. The mass of spindly legs at the base of the thorax were primarily used for climbing and navigating difficult terrain. Sita Moon cut the legs away as they reached for her, Tentacles wormed around her legs and tripped her, but the elf kept perfect time with her flaming scimitar.
No longer distracted by the magick, the Spidron turned on Kilgore. Titans were shock troops pushing along waves of swarmlings and metamorphs. Titans were never seen alone. This Titan should not be here.
Kilgore parried two strikes from the claws, but took a little damage from a solid strike on his midsection. CybR suits were built to sustain huge amounts of damage and keep the Knight fighting. Nano-Tech repaired blasted metal at a rate that allowed Gunners to stride into active battlefield, ignoring enemy small arm fire and advancing the Imperator’s boundaries. Heavy plates and bulky casings made for poor maneuverability. Kilgore did not have that advantage here.
Sita Moon jammed her flaming scimitar at the fleshy joint of two plates on the Spidron’s back. The monster turned on her, leaving the flank open to Kilgore. The combat music swelled, drowning out all other sounds.
